Church Pews  - Our Story

At BRCF, we manufacture new solid oak pews at the Born Again Pews facility in Oklahoma.  The name for this facility came about as a result of the way we started.   For more than a dozen years, we have provided a ministry service to help churches sell their used church pews and furniture at the Used Church Furniture website.  Churches that are remodeling or building new facilities can go this website and sell their used pews, church chairs, pulpits and other items.  

Several years ago, a woodworker named Rex Blisard was asked by his pastor to help repair some furniture in their church.  He gladly did so, and soon the pastor told another pastor friend, who asked Rex to do the same.  Pretty soon word was spreading in their (Free Will Baptist) conference that Rex was the go to guy to fix pews.  Next thing he knew, someone asked if he could build a few extra pews to match what the church already had.  Rex took one of the existing pews, examined it and built others to match.

Before long, people were asking Rex to find them used pews, and he bought some off the Used Church Furniture website, refurbished them and sold them.  As he did this, he began to learn about the construction every pew company was using, what worked well over time and what was failing.  In essence, he had the inside scoop on how to correctly build church pews.

As business grew, he shifted into new church pews, partnering with BRCF to provide these to a dealer network across the nation.   We have even shipped our furniture to Europe!

The pews come with a limited lifetime warranty on wood parts,  plus whatever warranty the fabric carries (some such as Sherpa, Shire, Matrix and others have lifetime warranties) to provide a quality, solid oak, fully  padded pew that is extremely comfortable, yet affordable.  The same crews that build the pews also install them, so you can be assured of a "hands on" approach all the way through the process.

With installations now in 21 states we have many good references and installations to show.  We have a simple pricing structure and quick turn around when needed.
